Our custom offshore riggingis the best in the business. The PRO series wind-on is built with fluorocarbon instead of mono. Fluorocarbon is inherently more abrasion resistant, and is much less visible in the water. Using a wind-on leader system gives you an extra 25 foot section of heavy abrasion resistance for shark and billfish. It also gives you a long IGFA legal leader that you are allowed to handle at boatside and reduces the amount of people needed for landing a fish successfully. These wind-ons have a looped header at the top end to attach to your main line. Tie a bimini at the end of your main line, and do a “cats paw” loop-to-loop connection to the header on the wind-on, and you’re done!
