Now available in BLUE and Seafoam. The Tsunami Carbon Shield II is a very light weight, and highly responsive rod for all inshore light tackle saltwater fishing purposes. In the Northeast, these rods are excellent for light tackle striped bass, bluefish, and albies with topwater, soft plastics, and jigs. In the southeast, this rod is perfect for redfish, sea trout, snook, and many other species. The blanks feature Tsunami’s D16 NanoTech blank, with multi-direcitonal layers of IM7 Carbon Fiber injected with Nano Resin. The layers are wrapped in 8 different angles which evenly disperses flexural force in 16 directions, which makes for a lightweight blank with extremely high hoop strength. ALPS Stainless Guides and a skeletonized reel seat offer both form and function.
