S&S bucktails have been re-born by Madd Mantis Tackleworks. These premium bucktails feature a heavy-duty hook that will stand up to the largest stripers and bluefish. The Rockhopper is a classic rounded head, and it is tied with no shortage of hair. When in doubt, fish a bucktail! These jigs have feather hackle tied on them, so a trailer isn’t necessary. However you can definitely fish these with a Jig Strip, Otter Tail, natural pork rind, or curly tail grub if you want to add some extra action as well.
