Description
The pattern invented by the most iconic fly fishermen of our time, Lefty Kreh. Deceivers are a staple pattern for Northeast saltwater fly fishing. This is a classic pattern for striped bass, bluefish, and really just about any saltwater fish that swims. Really, any fish that feeds on small to medium size baitfish will eat a deceiver. These flies are tied on a strong saltwater worthy hook. They also work great as a teaser for surfcasting applications when fished ahead of a plug.
