Description
Makes a racket on the top of the water that no fish can resist. A deep cupped face makes this popper push a lot of water when sweeping the rod. Try twitching the rod fast three or four times, then slow down and chug, then stop for a few seconds and then start over. These are great lures for striped bass and bluefish, but the larger 6.5 inch size is also an excellent option for tuna if you upgrade the hooks to Owner ST-66’s or BKK Raptor-Z’s.
Available in two sizes. 4.5 inch, and 6.5 inch.
Lemire’s Plugworksbased out of Rhode Island, USA made. They offer wooden plugs geared towards striper fishing, however they are used for other species as well in both salt and freshwater. Each plug is hand crafted one at a time by Al Lemire, right in Rhode Island. They are turned out of premium woods, then drilled, sealed to prevent water intrusion, primed, airbrushed and top coated with high grade automotive paints and durable top coats. They are stainless steel thru-wired for strength, fitted VMC 4X strong hooks, Wolverine Stainless Split rings, and Krok Stainless Steel Swivels.
